This semester I took Gen chem 2, Bio 2, and Algebra 1. That was already going to be a LOT. Then I accepted a job as a peer tutor, founded a club, and THEN I auditioned for the musical and got a bigger part than I expected to get. Long story short, musical went great, club is thriving, I’m one of the most popular tutors in our center, I’m getting an A in Bio… and I’m utterly failing the other two because I’m so far behind. Two weeks left in the semester and I can probably pass them if I really try, but my perfectionist tendencies have me feeling so defeated that it’s hard to get started and stay on task once I do. Also contending, as always, with intense ADHD. At this point I gotta let my GPA slip a bit and just get through these classes so I can take the summer off. If not, I’m going to have to retake one or both over the summer and honesty…. I just need a break SO BAD.
