I’m currently on the waiting list for my operation. I started this journey almost a year ago, since then I’ve had 2 ultrasounds and an MRI. Now I’m waiting for excision surgery and with the endometriosis on my bowels they need a bowel surgeon too.

I’ve got an appointment in the next few weeks I’m not sure what this is for.. maybe the pre-op consultation? I’m getting quite nervous now even though I really need this surgery but I’ve never had a major operation before that required to be put to sleep.

Can anyone share their experience with this surgery on the NHS?
