i’m (20F) looking at going on contraceptives for the first time and i’m kinda terrified with the side effects and the horror stories i’ve heard from friends.

i did some basic research and im scared of any form of a nausea side effect (i love emetephobia) and i was suggested a progestogen only pill since apparently it’s only oestrogen that tends to cause nausea?

does anyone have any experiences they can share of being on this pill regarding side effects, if it actually stopped your period, weight gain/loss etc would be very grateful :D
