Interesting design later turned basic and boring...

(On the right is the good old one, on the left is the latest one)

There's this one villain in the "Invincible" serie that looks like a huge robot capable of shooting fire from cannons on its arms, its insides are made of lava and it looks like it needs the armor to survive/be operationnal.

The first time we see it, it fights with the main characters and its armor gets damaged ; its liquid insides then start leaking out from the hole and it seems to be panicking and trying to keep it inside with its claws before slumping against a wall and collapsing, not getting back up again. We don't know how it works, but to me it was obvious he somehow died there.

I really liked this character ; sure it's not too original but a big armored robot like this looks great, especially when you're used to seeing more humanoid superheroes and villains. I especially love the gap between its appearance and its behavior, how human was its reaction when trying to contain its core from spilling out. Seeing the huge faceless machine suddenly show emotion can only make you sympathetic ! It also creates questions : "what is its true form ? Is he the lava or the robot ? Could he not survive without both ? Etc". There are no answers since we don't see it or mention it afterwards, but still the character feels tragic and the viewer can make up their own ideas about it themselves.

Anyway, to me the character is dead, fast forward two seasons, and we now see it attacking a prison. I'm a little surprised, but nice to see it back i suppose. But then it's armor gets completely destroyed, and we find out he's just a lava man, completely capable of holding its shape and with no apparent need of the armor whatsoever... I mean i guess it was for protection, but seriously, that's just it ?!!

We went from "armored robot living on plasma" to "guy made of lava"... it's such a boring change...

It's made even more annoying that it was clearly showed its insides were liquid during the first encounter, and that he at the very least needed the armor to keep himself together and function, but then it's completely ignored in his later appearance...

It genuinely feels like they dug up a previously dead villain, rewrote it with a bunch of stupid changes making it a completely different character, and then threw it back in the serie just to be fodder for the heroes to beat and save money on new character designs.

Nobushi hit without animation, cheat ?

Was an awful round, the berserker was a smurfing cheater and i wouldn't be surprised if the Nobu was also using something.

She had moments like this where her heavies would skip frames and only appear when hitting you.

Is this actual cheating or am i just delusional ?

Fashion tierlist

I'm a rep1000+ player, and as i think Fashion and hero customization is half the game, i had been wanting to do a ranking for years. After thinking about it for a while, i finally reached this conclusion.

Tried to be as subjective as possible, and many placements would have been very different if it had only been about my tastes.

Also keep in mind the ranking takes a lot of things into account, and not simply "do they look good ?". Some characters like VG for example are amazing in many aspects imo but suffer from a big lack of variety which lowers their overall score.

I'm ready to justify and detail any ranking i made
