Is the Starlink ethernet adapter a common failure point?

My home setup is Starlink wifi modem (v2) in an outbuilding, connected to TP-Link Deco wifi bouncers in the main house via a long, buried, weatherproof ethernet cable.

Last night, the internet just switched off suddenly in the house. I thought it was a glitch, but this morning realised that the Starlink was fine, but the Deco couldn't connect.

I swapped the Deco units over. Nothing. I checked all the cables for mouse nibbles etc. Nothing. But when I unplugged the ethernet adapter from the Starlink unit and used a MacBook to share wifi internet over ethernet, the Decos sprang back to life. So the culprit's the Ethernet adapter.

I've ordered a non-OEM replacement from Amazon, but I wondered if anyone else had problems with the Starlink ethernet adapter.
