Can someone tell me why an official music video has better casting then an entire Netflix production?

If you ask me, this is just more proof that Rainbow does have the capability to make the franchise great, they just don't want to—or rather, don't care enough to put in the effort.

The actresses, costume design, and overall production of the two music videos from the official Winx channel have far better production than Fate the Winx saga and, dare I say, even the reboot series.

(This is my review taken straight from the one I wrote on Steam with a few adjustments.)

Overall Rating: 6.4/10

Pros and Cons

Pros:

-Longer playtime than most kid games (bang for your buck, basically)

-Every Winx member is playable

-Cozy, laid-back experience

-Good for anyone who's a fan of the reboot

Cons:

-Requires a controller

-Weird camera

Thoughts and Extras

The original Winx Club is one of my favorite pieces of media, possibly of all time. I don't want to underestimate just how much the series means to me. When I heard they were making a new game, I was beyond ecstatic, even though it was based on the recent reboot.

This game is really not as bad as people claim. It's by no means amazing, but at the end of the day this is a kids' game and the standards are different. I’m not expecting the next Baldur’s Gate 3 over here. Truth be told, for a game aimed at young children, this is actually pretty great. There's plenty of gameplay and unique mechanics that can be genuinely challenging, especially on higher difficulties. I'm also impressed with the seamless transition of the reboot’s art direction and animations and how they're implemented here.

That being said, your enjoyment of this game will heavily depend on how you feel about the recent reboot. I happen to be indifferent toward it, so I had a lot of fun. My only real complaint is the lack of keyboard and mouse support—I shouldn't be forced to use a controller for a game that’s available on PC.
