i honestly don't know how to continue from here any feedback on my writing and ideas of how to flow the story would be great and apricated! :)

Solar Flare 

It was just supposed to be a Tuesday. The air was blistering heat outside compared to the cold crinkled sheets all around him. His shoulders rested as if going back to sleep from sent of the common vanilla detergent reaching his nose. The bed loudly creaks with his movement as he gets up before he decides not to. Floorboards squeak from the slow and heavy feet traveling to the bathroom as a regular morning routine starts to commence with a more tired than normal pace. Brush teeth.. shower.. change.. eat… watch TV... ALARM. He jumps. His shirt now has a small stain from the tea he was drinking. He always hated that alarm. The TV clicks off as he gets up and heads for the door. He grabs the cat food he bought the other day and with a hopeful mindset starts heading off to the office. 

As he was walking his regular path, his eyes saw a blur of yellow, but when he turned to see someone was closing their front door. They must have been wearing yellow. It clears his mind as he continues his walk realizing half minded that there's no one out today; they must have all taken their cars to work because of the heat. Summer in Texas isn't for the weak. as he arrives to the office, he takes a glance ground outside and… there she is. Darcy is what he has named the little cat that hangs around. He places some cat food on the ground and gives her a little pet. He relaxes as if this is the last time he ever will and then after a couple minutes leaves Darcy to her food and heads into the office. 

"BLAKE." Blake whips around his shoes, making an embarrassing squeaking sound. "Jess what's wro-" Blake's words get caught in his throat as he looks at his assistant Jess, a cloud of color surrounds her with a mix of bright oranges and blues horrifying and beautiful. She's looking not at him but behind him like she's seeing the same thing on him. What was going on? Was it happening to everyone? Are there eyes playing tric- "Jess what's happening." Jess's eyes snapped to his face as if this was the first time she actually saw him. "I don't know... the news is going crazy I hadn't seen it before getting here" they quickly moved toward the waiting area where the TV was on the news channel. 

 

I'm currently starting my first novel Solar Flare, and I'm worrying about how I'm going to write the later parts of my book that involve neuro science. I don't know anything about it but I love the concept I've created and it needs neuro science to work. if anyone has ideas on sources whare I can find easy enough to understand neuro science or has alternative ideas on what i could do i would love to hear it.:)

Name (aliases, nicknames etc.): Blake Wild is from the renowned wild family who are known to have founded the wilds academy of research and all being renowned scientist. was also known as Wilds when he was in the academy because he often didn't care about his work and was often out socializing or partying instead of working.

 

Age: Blake is 28 though he is still relatively young he learned early on that to succeed he needs to be kind and focused on what he needs to do.

 

Gender: Blake is male since he was a man in the wild family he was expected to become a renowned researcher and later a detector of the academy since he decided to go against that he has been shut out by his family and isn't even allowed in his childhood home.

 

Place of birth: Blake was born in Dallas Texas to the rich wild family.

 

Residence(s): before Blake dropped out he was living with his family in the wild estate in Dallas Texas. while he was in eye doctor school he was living in on campus residents he now lives in a small house in southwest Arlington it is an average suburban house with a over grown lawn the inside isn't dirty but lived in with a barely used kitchen and cheap furniture.

 

Ethnicity: British/French(he's just white)

 

Culture: he likes tea but only the ones that have caffeine

Defining facial features: Blake has brown glasses, lots of freckles and a short beard his old friends used to say that it complemented his cheerfulness and intelligence

 

Height, build, body type: Blake has a medium sized but toned body and stands at a height of 6'1" he likes his body and keeps in shape by running on his treadmill and lifting weights in his house

 

Mannerisms and gestures: when Blake is thinking he will often rub the top of his ear between his fingers this is a thing he picked up from his dad from when he would watch him work when Blake was small. when he is anxious he will bite at his lips and try to count on his fingers to calm himself down.

 

Style: Blake only really wares casual clothes or his work scrubs but when waring his casual clothes they usually are a warm toned t-shirt and light washed jeans.

 

Accessories: he has a silver eye necklace that his favorite professor got for him at graduation Are there any accessories they never leave home without?

Hopes and dreams: Well Blake already concurred his dream of becoming an eye doctor and getting away from his family he also wants to reconnect with his collage love and his friends from collage but is to ashamed and scared to face them.
