I currently have an MA (not in anything related to counselling) and have run D&D games professionally. I would like to go back to school to become a therapist specifically to facilitate roleplaying games. What educational pathways are available to me and which, of those, would be the most relevant?
I have seen schools offer Wellness and Dragons type mental health programs and I really want to facilitate that. I live in Ontario and would prefer something local. Do I have to specifically study to be an Art / Drama therapist or will any MSW work? I don’t really understand the various pathways that would enable someone to do this specific type of group therapy in Canada.
