Researcher/insights professional looking to break into NYC market research roles
Hey everyone. I’m currently based just outside the city and I’m actively interviewing for consumer insights, qualitative research, market research roles in the city. I figured I’d just post here in case anyone has any leads or referrals, or just wants to compare notes about the job market right now.
Here’s a taste of my skill set
~2+ years of mixed-methods research experience across public health and marketing settings, including work on federally-funded studies
Quant background: Qualtrics (survey design, logic, distribution), SPSS, data cleaning, basic statistical analysis
Qual side: focus group facilitation, IRB protocol writing, qualitative coding, in-depth interviews
Also run a small marketing consultancy on the side, so I’m fluent in the “translate insights into something a brand team can actually use” part of the job
