Look at these scars! I can't believe how little they are and how well they look. I can't believe these little things helped aide in taking out my organs and what they accomplished. It just blows my mind. I feel so good right now and can't wait to feel even better. I'm so happy that after nine years, someone listened to me and advocated for me. I'm so grateful. 😭

The nurse at my two week check up said "if you're worried about scarring, you can do this, this, or this". I chuckled because I have a 7 in c section scar on my bikini line, I'm not worried about these! 😂 She laughed along with me about that. I did put a little Aquaphor on them since my skin is dry but other than that they're good!

(Please don't judge my belly button lol, when I got my steri strips taken off the nurse ripped the scab along with it so it started bleeding again and I have a weird thing about belly buttons. It's very hard for me to get in there and clean the glue off knowing what was done. It will just have to come off naturally in the shower. 😅)

Anyway, I hope anyone else healing right now is doing well! ❤️

Hi there! I'm trying not to freak out. I've been in the abyss of the internet and everything says "normal". But I need reassurance.

Since the beginning I've had no bleeding. I had some very pale pink when I wiped day two and three after surgery. Then on day 10 I had some red bleeding but it stopped a couple hours later.

Now yesterday....my cat had poop stuck in his butt. There was nothing I could do to help but the vet said stick him in a warm bath and make him sit there for a bit to help loosen things along. I did this but I made sure not to bend, I sat on the ground, so there wouldn't be pressure in the wrong places. I was careful although I did move faster than I normally do because I work from home and I didn't want to be away from my desk too long.

About a hour later I went pee and saw some brownish blood on my underwear, I thought okay that is to be expected. But then I went pee and I had some red blood drop out. I wiped and the whole toilet paper was red. I put a pad on and went back to work. I had some blood on the pad but every time I went pee, there where drops of blood in the toilet and the wipe was always covered in red blood.

Now today, the blood has lessened but it is still there. I'm no where near filling a pad in an hour. Just drops or smears here and there when I get up/walk around. But when I pee...drops of blood and toilet paper red.

Am I okay? Is this normal? Did I just over do it and need to chill? Do I need to go in or would just a call suffice to let my surgeon know what's going on? Please tell me you've had similar experiences. 😅
