Like a lot of people here I got sick of Quizlet locking basic features behind a paywall. So I built my own study app over the past few weeks. The main thing it does: you paste any text from your notes or textbook and it generates flashcards automatically using AI. Takes about 5 seconds. Then it uses spaced repetition to schedule reviews based on how well you know each card. There's also a quiz mode that auto-generates multiple choice questions from your deck, and a classroom mode where teachers can push a live timed quiz to students via a shareable link with no login required. Core features are free. Paid plans start at $4.99/mo for unlimited decks. Just launched today so it's rough around the edges.
