I'll be in Vancouver visiting family this August and just realised that T100 will be on while I'm in town.

I am currently training for my first 70.3 in November, and by mid August I'll be ready to test out an olympic distance tri. I can see that the T100 offers registration for an olympic distance event, so I am thinking this might be an ideal opportunity to do it.

The problem is that I fly out of Vancouver at 8pm on 16 August, and the T100 is taking place on 15-16 August, with all event times still TBA.

Obviously it would be heaps less stress if the event ends up being on 15 August, but I'm thinking I could potentially do an early morning event on the 16th and still have time to shower, change and make my flight (although am keen for feedback on this, not sure how long it takes to pack up and get all your gear after the event etc).

Has anyone done an olympic at this event in a prior year and know what the timing is likely to be? Or even when the event times are likely to be confirmed? I'm also slightly concerned that nearly 3 months out from the event the website still looks quite bare. None of the race routes are confirmed (olympic route not even mentioned), and some of the content still seems to refer to last years event (e.g. registration button says 'come join us in June').

I'll need to rent a bike for the event, so am hoping to at least work out the timing to see if its doable, and know which days I'll need to rent the bike for.
