I recently started going to Rudis Jiujitsu South of st Augustine. They are amazing. It's everything I've looked for in an academy. Safe, clean, non- patronizing
I even have started taking wrestling and they actually teach it correctly. Coach Andy and all the staff are so welcoming. From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable. The ambiance and vibes are just great. The bathroom is so clean too i was shocked.
I went to another academy before and he yelled, made me feel stupid and just ruined jiujitsu for me for a really long time. It didn't shock me when I heard what happened at that academy either
I did not even want to come to the Rudis academy but I was dragged here by a friend and the difference is amazing. I'm finding the love for the sport again! I'm pretty shocked more people don't know about this place. They train hard but with respect for you. I'll never go anywhere else.
