Choosing between CS/IT, AI/Data Science, Cybersecurity and interdisciplinary master’s programs — which is the safest strategy?

I’m a Software Engineering undergraduate in Australia and I’m preparing my master’s application plan. I have shortlisted programs in Australia and Hong Kong, including CS/IT, AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Business Information Systems, and some interdisciplinary programs.

My questions are:

  1. For someone with a Software Engineering background, is it better to choose a broad CS/IT program or a specialised program such as AI, Data Science, or Cybersecurity?

  2. Are interdisciplinary programs such as Health Data Science, AI for Sciences, Business AI, or Information Systems useful for employment, or are they too niche?

  3. Would a newer program title like Agentic AI, Metaverse Technology, Blockchain Technology, or Low-altitude Technology be risky compared with traditional CS/IT?

  4. When choosing a taught master’s program, should I prioritise university ranking, curriculum, internship/project opportunities, or local job market?

  5. How should I compare 1-year Hong Kong master’s programs with 1.5–2 year Australian master’s programs?

Best smartwatch around 300–370 AUD for gym, weight loss and daily use?

I’m currently looking for a smartwatch around 300–370 AUD. I use an iPhone, but I’m not necessarily looking for an Apple Watch. My main use cases are:

1.Gym workouts / strength training 2. Weight loss tracking 3.Walking incline 4. Sleep and recovery trackin 5. Daily wear 6. Decent battery life.

I care more about fitness tracking, heart rate, sleep/recovery data and battery life than smart features like apps or calling. However, I still want basic iPhone notifications to work properly.

Which one would you recommend in this price range?

Has anyone tried to conduct online exams in different countries?

I have an online exam for one of my courses in June. But by then I will have gone home. I'm not sure if I can log in successfully and complete the exam on Canvas because of the damn firewall. If I have Swinburne's VPN, will it help me use it smoothly and take the exam? Has anyone tried it?
