Who is supposed to run after young students who run away from classrooms?

I have a runner. When he gets upset or bored he will leave the classroom and run back home. His house is 10min walk away. I have tried to block the classroom door but he gets aggressive. I have also said things like "math is almost done, in ten minutes we are going to the gym. Can you read your favorite comic book?"

He will yell no F you and run to the main door. In the past I have let him run, notify the administrator and kept teaching. But his mom is worried he will go home when shes not there or he might get into a car accident. She told us we have to supervise him and even wrote a threatening letter to the district.

Administrator and special ed teacher will only run after him when he runs away during recess. Also we are not allowed to hold his hand and bring him back to the school. We are supposed to run with him, office calls his mom and she convinces him to return to school or she let's him stay home.

I am in my first trimester (haven't announced my pregnancy yet) and I dont feel like running after him anymore. Other teachers dont want to either. What options do I have?

Free 2 months of rent

If a building manager is offering 2 months of free rent as a promotion should that be in the lease? And if they didn't put it in the lease but a verbal agreement and email, can that still be enforced? Or can they say the promotion no longer applies?

Food policy

I am a teacher and in my class I have a 9 year old boy in foster care. Every day he brings Ramen noodles and cheese crackers for lunch. For drink, he brings fanta. His foster mom told me caseworker won't allow her to change his diet and they can't do the "eat what I make or have a sandwich" method. Or their home can get into trouble. Hes been with this family for 11 months.

I understand being trauma informed in the early months but what happens if a foster child refuses to eat fruits and vegetables for years?

When I lived abroad, there was a traditional desert group of people I got to know. A lot of them practiced "4 wives". Some had less. 2 was the common number but up to 4 is allowed. It was very interesting.

I am Canadian American (dual citizen) and ive taught in both countries as well as teaching English in Europe.

What continues to surprise me is Ontario schools dont have universal free school lunches. My sister teaches full time in Toronto and she said her school has snacks if students come without lunch but no official lunch program. She says its getting more common to see students come with no lunch in toronto with the food prices going up

Why dont we invest in one?

I teach 3rd grade. Last month, a female student let me know she feels scared walking home because Tommy (a boy in grade 6) follows her and takes photos of her. I contacted her parents and had admin contact Tommy's parents. Tommy said its a joke. He also made inappropriate comments about her body.

It kept happening and the girl started coming to class less. Yesterday on their way to school Tommy put his hands inside her pants and hurt her. She came to class in tears. I was furious and went straight to the office. Senior admin said he will keep Tommy in for first recess. I said this isn't a real consequence, I'm coming back to the office to further discuss. At recess, I saw Tommy playing a game on a tablet with the same admin and having a great time.

He said kids do silly stuff and to let it go. I called her parents and let them know what happened. I even texted my cousin who works in policing to see if they can do anything. He said no because of the ages.

What else can I do?

I am almost 40 and I remember 10 years ago giving birth and being pressured to breastfeed. I just told the nurse no and moved on.

My younger sister recently had her first baby and a nurse told her "you are not giving the baby a great start to life if you don't breastfeed". The hospital also refused to give any formula and it has to be prescribed.

I am an elementary school teacher and I cant tell the difference between a child who was breastfed or formula fed. So why are we pressuring new moms?

I am 7 months pregnant and struggling with breast nipple pain. They've grown in cup size. Bras are uncomfortable for me and painful most days. Even sports bras. At work I have no choice because I need to look professional.
But outside of work, I want to go bra less. My hubby thinks its inappropriate and too revealing. Is it really bad to go braless if your nipples show? Even if the reason is due to discomfort?

We've been married for 5 years. He is 35 and im 26

TLDR husband doesn't want me to go braless
