Picking a stand

I have access to a Summit climber, and have used one before. I’ve recently taken up archery and goal is to bowhunt this fall but I want to have all my gear etc locked down so I can start practicing now. My main question is, are tree saddles really all that much better? I’m a big guy at 6’3 265lbs and I do like comfort lol. I only will be hunting public land and most spots will be a mile or so hike. I’m not weak so I’m more than capable of carrying the summit but it is a process to hang it etc. I guess Im just looking for confirmation I’m not missing out on anything major by just using the summit.

Another question, I’ve seen the Wingman descender by Black Ash products and it seems genius as I’ve always wondered what you’d do if you fell out of a stand. I’d be using the summit plus a harness and tether to the tree and I already have the third hand archery stabilizer straps on the stand so I don’t see many ways I could fall out or lose the stand. Is the black ash a smart investment or waste of money?

Thanks for any help!
