Gloria’s proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year proposes eliminating an entire team of traffic engineers dedicated to making roads safer. They design complete streets, including putting in the crosswalks, lane striping improvements, traffic signal timing sensors, and bikeways when roads get repaved. Aka the most cost effective and easiest way to improve streets.

He’s touting public safety being maintained in this slashed budget but getting rid of the people that make roads safer. Makes no sense. So may kids have died this year and this is the reaction.
