A druid picks up the cleric archetype. At 14th level he can cast 7th level primal spells and 5th level divine spells. He finds a staff of Control. If he prepares the staff can he cast Dominate?

From the staff rules:

*You can Cast a Spell from a staff only if you have that spell on your spell list, are able to cast spells of the appropriate rank or higher*

The question is, does that cross spell casting traditions?
