Does Man In The Box sound much more modern to you than the rest of the Facelift album?
Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE all the songs on the album, especially Sunshine, Put You Down, and I Know Somethin (Bout You). But I feel like I can totally hear their Glam rock roots (in a good way) in all of the album, except Man In The Box which sounds much more modern to me.
When I listen to this album I can’t help but picture Layne in his Glam drag era with his big 80s hair, except Man In The Box, where I picture him in his short hair-shades era (I saw the video, I know he had long/dread hair).
I’m curious to know if you see what I mean and if others feel that way too.
