Douglas is disappointing!
I ordered a King size Hybrid Summit mattress from Douglas on April 6th. The original delivery date was April 14th, but it was later pushed to the 20th. At that point, they offered a 5% discount, which I appreciated and took as a sign of good customer service.
However, the delivery date kept changing; first to the 23rd, then the 24th, and finally to May 4th. When I asked why they didn’t mention on their website that the mattress was out of stock, they claimed it "is" in stock and that they were just waiting for the manufacturer to send it to the distributor which is essentially another way of saying it’s out of stock!!
I finally cancelled my order today. We’ve been sleeping on the floor for the past weeks and can’t rely on their false promises anymore.
Also, they delete comments on Instagram if they don’t like them, so I wouldn’t trust their social media AT ALL.
If anyone has suggestions for a reliable alternative, I’d really appreciate it.
