I have a M1 MacBook Air with 8gb ram and a nas(dx2800)with 8gb sodimm ddr5.

I would need for uni to self host a LLM for math, but I don‘t have the money to either get a new laptop or more ram for my Nas.

And then which model would be best to run it on?
