Do adults have imaginary friends? I (F69) daily replay in my head something like a parallel universe in which I interact with imaginary people. I create scenarios and dialogue sort of as if I'm writing a book or a sitcom for TV. I'm the principal character. And yes, I can tell reality from fantasy. Am I crazy or is this common? Is this a sign of something - loneliness, encroaching mental illness, dissatisfaction with my life or an overactive imagination? Anyone else do this?
