Hi guys, I’ve created a new subreddit focused on cures and treatments for color blindness.

Sorry for intruding on this subreddit. I just started a new subreddit: r/ColorBlindCure for anyone interested in color blindness cures.
I’ll be posting research and updates regularly, and would appreciate help growing the community.

Most people are fine with their color vision or see it as unimportant, but some of us hope real progress is being made. It’s a long-term goal, and I want this to be a space where we can support each other and share our hopes.

My child is six years old, and I've noticed he's started mistaking some colors, like confusing pink and bright blue. I don't know how to correct him now, and it might only make things worse. I'm also wondering if organizing activities for families with color vision deficiencies in the neighborhood would give him a sense of belonging.Or simply ignore it and let things take their course.

Although many people think it's okay, it will obviously bother some people. I believe everyone, like me, expects to be solved, instead of accepting it and adapting to it.

To avoid ambiguity, this picture contains different degrees of green, and the leaf crown of the shrub is orange-red.

For context, I am referring to that specific gene therapy trial. If the hope is slim, I don't think the scientific community needs to repeatedly emphasize this point; it only creates anxiety.
