Im 2 years into deep foundations as an FE but my background is oil and gas service work and welding. Thought the Kiewit Industrial interview went well and the estimator liked that I could pass a combo weld test, no update since then. Hundreds of applications for other civil work and zero calls back. Recruiters wont help because I had already applied to all of their clients. Id like to get into pipeline or plant work to be back in Texas.
Where else do I look? Is it that slow right now?
EDIT: Thank you guys for the direction and insight, I think I have a better idea of where to look, coming in new to construction has been an adjustment. Thank you guys for reaching out too!
