My car has a fault that is very difficult to identify.
I have already visited several mechanics, and all of them told me that the car is in very good condition and very well maintained. They also said that they could not see any clear signs of scraping, rubbing, or damage underneath the car.
However, I can clearly hear the noise shown in the video while driving. The car does not make this scraping/grinding noise when it is stationary. The noise usually happens when I accelerate hard from a standstill or at low speed.
It becomes much more noticeable when the car is loaded. For example, with five people in the car, the scraping/grinding noise is very clear. With four people, it is less noticeable, and when I am driving alone, it is almost not present at all.
Because the noise only appears while driving and depends so much on the load in the car, I suspect that something may be changing position when the suspension is compressed or when the drivetrain is under load. However, so far no mechanic has been able to find the exact cause.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue, or does anyone have an idea what could cause this kind of noise? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
