Finally top 2 in Teo (Normal, Mix Mode) with the "Note Offset Tech"
Recently I had been wondering about other players getting a higher score than me and what I thought would be possible to get.
In an earlier post the users u/MagiMiku and u/Fable-39- explained to me, that you can get more points on hold notes during the song by changing your offset by some milliseconds in the options, so I tried that out.
I went through multiple steps to find out how to get a higher score on the song:
I played the song normally (without offset) and only held the hold notes fully, ignoring all the other notes, to see how much score those alone would give me, which was 31140 points.
I changed the offset by one millisecond, then played the song again with only holding the hold notes fully. Then I checked the score and if it didn't go higher than 31140 points, I would change the offset by one millisecond over and over again until I got a score higher than 31140 (for example 31150)
As soon as I found the highest score achievable on the holds with a specific offset, I now played the song with that specific offset, hitting all notes and holds perfectly (so I only got COOLs), to finally reach my new highscore!
