This weird black stuff has been popping up on a lot of my light colored, plastic objects. It’s usually objects that don’t move around a lot. It just doesn’t look like what I expect mold to look like. It’s worst in the kitchen, but also happens in my bedroom and bathroom. I’ve lived many places and in many old buildings and have never seen anything like this! I live in a coastal area so it gets warm and humid, and I don’t have central AC, just window units. However, this didn’t start until this most recent winter. Also I rent—can I contact my landlord with this concern? I appreciate any insight! It’s freaking me out!
