Sound I'm looking for: Warm, musical, good soundstage and depth. I don't like neutral (e.g. KRK monitor speakers), also dislike bright speakers (brightness tends to make my ear hurt quickly). I listen to soul, R&B, classic rock, disco/house music.
I currently have:
- Turntable: Audio-Technica AT-LP60BT (connected via aux cable, LINE mode, internal preamp enabled)
- Speaker: JBL Authentics 500 (all-in-one powered speaker)
What should I buy to level-up my audio game?
1. Thinking about buying speaker + receiver OR a pre-amp if you think would be more valuable at the moment.
Music sources: Streaming from phone/mac plus Vinyl
