I keep doing IC work because I'm good at it and it's what I like but every meeting now people look at me when something gets stuck. I'm not a manager and I don't want to be a manager but I also don't think "senior" just means "writes code faster" anymore and I haven't figured out what it means for me yet.

Mostly posting because I had a 1:1 with my manager today where she said "you're not stepping into the room enough" and I've been thinking about it since.
