Hi everyone, I’d really appreciate some advice.

I recently passed Virtudesk and I’m now at the pre-training stage, which includes signing their contract. The role is for a GVA position at $3/hour.

At the same time, I’m currently in circulation with another agency offering around $1000/month, but there’s no clear timeline on when (or if) I’ll get matched with a client.

I also passed SaiberAssist and I’m scheduled to start training on May 11.

My dilemma is whether I should proceed with Virtudesk (lower pay but more immediate) or hold out for the other opportunities that may offer better compensation but are uncertain.

Also, for those who have experience with Virtudesk, were you able to take on another client or work with another agency while with them? I’ve heard they’re quite strict about exclusivity, and they even required proof of resignation from me (like screen recordings of resignation email and certificate of affiliation).

Another concern is the $5000 penalty for breach of contract. I find this quite high, especially considering there’s no guarantee of getting matched with a client. (Also the contract says non-compete is effective for 3 years after separation.)

For those who’ve been in a similar situation, would you take the sure, lower-paying role, or wait for a better but less certain opportunity?

Thanks in advance for your insights.
