New Grad (50) with BSED/ Secondary English- Struggling with the “ two year experience” wall. Advice?

Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out because I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed and could use some perspective. I’m a recent graduate (50 years old) as of 4/30 with a BSED, concentration in Secondary English.
My goal is to teach 7th grade and up. I love grammar, writing, and figurative language, and I’m well-versed in Common Core. However, I’m hitting some major roadblocks: My state certificate is going through the channels, but it’ll likely take two months. I’m worried I’m missing the hiring window for this year. Almost every posting I see on Schrole or elsewhere requires 2 years of post-cert experience for visa purposes.
I’m getting "not moving forward" emails constantly. I suspect it’s because I’m a new grad, even though I have plenty of "life" and professional maturity.
I know I don’t want to do primary/elementary or language centers (I’m not an ESL teacher; I want to teach English Language Arts).
Are there specific "tier 2" or "tier 3" schools or regions (China? SE Asia? Latin America?) that are more flexible with the 2-year experience rule for a mature, licensed teacher?
How do you handle the "Pending Certificate" status on applications so HR doesn't auto-reject?
For those who started teaching later in life, how did you frame your lack of classroom experience to land that first international gig?
I’m feeling a bit like I'm drowning, so any "starter school" recommendations or encouragement would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for letting me vent.
