19M trying to rebuild my life after family issues — looking for advice, opportunities, mentorship, investors, or any help honestly

Hey everyone.
I honestly don’t even know where to start this, but I’ll try to be as real as possible.

I’m a 19-year-old from Accra trying to rebuild my life from scratch after some difficult family issues. Things at home became unhealthy and emotionally draining to the point where I had to leave and stay elsewhere for peace and stability.

Since then, life has been... rough.

Right now, I’m trying to figure out how to become financially stable enough to get a small apartment for myself, continue building my skills, and create a better future. I’m not looking for pity; I’m genuinely trying to work my way out of this situation.

I’m a web developer, an AI Facilitator, a Robotics coach, and I’m deeply interested in EdTech, startups, and community impact projects. I’ve worked on ideas around helping students, educational access, and youth-focused tech initiatives. I spend most of my time learning, building, researching, and trying to improve myself.

The difficult part is resources.

I have ideas, skills, discipline, and vision, but almost no financial backing, limited equipment, unstable living conditions, and honestly a lot of pressure mentally trying to survive while still dreaming big.

I know a lot of people online fake stories, so I understand skepticism. But I’m writing this because maybe someone here has been in a similar position before and can offer genuine advice.

Right now, I’m mainly looking for:

  • Advice from people who rebuilt their lives young
  • Remote work opportunities
  • Internship opportunities
  • Mentorship in tech/startups/business
  • Connections with people in EdTech
  • Guidance on getting investors or grants
  • Ways to earn consistently online
  • Any realistic advice on moving out and surviving independently at a young age

Even if you don’t have opportunities directly, I’d appreciate honest guidance.

What would you do if you were 19 again, had skills and ambition, but almost no resources and needed to restart life?

Thank you for reading.
