Salam,
I was wanting to read up more on the Islamic history and things like the relationship between imam Ali AS and Ayesha, the 3 caliphs, etc. as well as all the things that happened between them and the greater Muslim world.
Or I guess a better way to put it is where can I find out more about the history between Shia and Sunni, how it came to be, what caused the disputes, and what caused many Muslims at the time to treat the imams and ahl l bayt so terribly, despite them wanting nothing but the best and being advocated for by the prophet SAW?
I understand the main things but I want to dig a lot deeper into it all and just general shia history and information. I’ve searched many things up but a solid reading or video series would be a better way to take things in, thank you.
