WiiM device control
I have a couple WiiM amps running 2.1 systems in different locations, and love the ability to control the sound via EQ and sub settings. I would like to improve my main tv area with the addition of a WiiM device. I was running an Apple TV 4K into an Onkyo AVR and into an LG tv. All controlled with one remote. The tv went on the fritz, so I replaced it with a Roku tv, and that has the same ability to run apps as the ATV4K, so I removed that device, at least for now. What I want to do is add a WiiM Ultra between the TV and the AVR so I can EQ the sound going out of the AVR. But there is only the one eArc HDMI on the WiiM. I could run the optical out of WiiM into the Onkyo, but I think I will lose the remote function for volume control on the Roku remote. Can anyone verify that assumption? Or have suggestions to keep the single remote and have the WiiM EQ adjustment for the system.
