And I have the stats to back it up! Ive tryharded only 2 tiers in my time on pokemon showdown. I peaked around top ~200 in adv if I recall and I was top 50 in gen 9 AG when it first came out (though gen 9 AG is a much smaller player base. I was by all means way more skilled at adv I played that tier for like 5 years at this point).
Nowadays I just play every once in a while with dumb teams which is why my ratings are what they are haha 😂.
But look at this ! My gen 9 AG GXE is 78% and my gen 3 OU GXE is 58%, and I have very similar peak and current rating in both. This means while Im way more skilled at gen 3 OU, my chance of winning against an average player on the gen 3 ladder is only 58%. Playing it for 5 years and peaking top ~200 in the world is basically a slightly above average player in ADV 😂.
I see this too when I play on ladder at low elo im running into all of yall's alt accounts spamming Big 5 starmie and hitting double switches at 1000 elo 😂
