Hello everyone out there, wherever you are! I am hoping that by reaching out here I can find some like-minded people to become friends with and to chat with. It is hard as an adult to find friends. I really have no friends in my life, except my best friend who lives in a different state. I have coworker "friends" but that is not the same as a genuine friendship with someone. A little bit about myself - I live in the Maryland/DC area. I am 47. I am married and have a teenage daughter. I am kind of nerdy, lol. My interests are photography, music (any music but I love electronic music, I even compose some of this type of music), art, sci-fi/fantasy and action movies and even some anime (Studio Ghibli and some older anime from the late 80s/ early 90s). I am looking for people in my age group of 40 +/- to connect with. It would be even more fun if you lived in my area and we could get together and talk at some point! The pandemic really changed the dynamic of friendships and people getting together. We have become stuck behind a screen. Hope that someone out there finds me interesting and reaches out!
