I realized I couldn't name a single album I'd listened to start to finish in the past year. Just shuffle, algorithmic playlists, Spotify telling me what I like.
So I built a thing for myself — you pick 8 albums, that's all you get (although you can swap ones in and out freely). It forces you to actually live with music instead of just consuming it.
One week in and I've already listened to a ton of albums, a bunch of which I'd forgotten about.
