Hey everyone,
I’m a solo iOS developer and recently launched my first app called Promise Today.
The idea is simple:
One day. One promise.
Instead of tracking a long list of habits, streaks, routines, and goals, the app asks the user to make one realistic promise for today, do it, and check out at night.
The goal is to help people rebuild self-trust through small promises they can actually keep.
I’m not sure if the positioning is strong enough. I’m also not sure if “self-trust” is clear enough, or if people understand the value immediately.
I’d love a brutal roast on:
- The concept
- App Store positioning
- Screenshots / first impression
- Pricing
- Whether the app feels too simple
- What would stop you from downloading it
- What you would change to make it more attractive

Please be honest. I’m trying to improve it, not protect my feelings 😄
