Why are Muslim males often so vitriolic online?
It’s beyond simple misogyny at this point, they’re calling her a thing and a creature?? There is this phenomenon of some Muslims that act all friendly when convincing you to join Islam but then showing their true colours the moment you do. They’d never say this to a potential convert.
It’s just something I’ve noticed. Of course this is Instagram reels and misogyny (and by extension anti semitism, racism, etc.) is rife on there, but this behaviour persists in person for a lot of Muslim men. Not even hijabis are left alone. I genuinely don’t see the appeal Islam still has to these women as this is genuinely one of the reasons I left.
