Someone gave me this, don't have a controller, and I imagine it's not as fun as my more modern one. Worth buying parts for or should I buy a new one or build from scratch, if that's a thing? Sorry, I'm new here.

Not sure if this is the right place, but any help is appreciated. This water pump was froze up from sitting, and I ended up busting the plastic piece in the third picture. Anyone know how this comes out or a replacement? Pump is from a 1/2hp motor.
