I know they are 1987. I know they are 525’s. Made in USA- a Texas plant

What I don’t know- are they adult women’s, “student fit”, or a kids size?

And how am I not able to find a backpatch that *completely* matches this one, let alone any “Silver Medal” backpatch design in combination with a white tab like these have?

I know “Levis For Gals” had the white tab, but from what I’ve been able to find, the line wasn’t around at the start of the 80’s. Since these are in the late 80’s I don’t think they are part of that line, but I’m open to being shown that’s wrong

I read somewhere that the silver medal line turned into the SilverTab line in 88. 87 was a transitional year, and I read it may have produced some oddities/rarities

I see some silver medal patched jeans prior to 88 that have red tabs. The backpatch looks completely different though

I’ve seen backpatches close to this one, orange tabs from late 70’s. They have “California Straights” in red along the bottom. The “for over 135 (looks like) years” is 125 years on those pairs. On this pair, I can’t make out the word that comes after Levi Strauss in cursive on the bottom Hoos?

They have a high rise tapered fit. “mom” jeans. I get 25 for waist at max, but they have a 33 inch inseam, so I don’t think they shrunk much from original, and that inseam seems adult fit to me. For the waist, apparently all of us were that much smaller back then?

Possibly a student fit/possibly a higher end/experimental line? A one of a kind? 😅😂

So yeah. I’m so curious as to what exactly these are. TIA
