My partner is looking at moving to Cape Town for a Sous chef position in Hout Bay. Bit of his background, he worked 3 years in London, UK & about 2 years in PE where we from, has formal qualifications too.

What would be a good salary to live off in Hout Bay / Constantia ? I know rent prices range from R12k - R14k for a 1 bedroom.

What about the bus links as well ??
