It's my first time in Paris, and about 30 minutes into my train ride to central Paris, three guys tried to rob me of my suitcase. One of them sat in front of me directly in front of my suitcase. I was about to move it but he said it was ok, at one of the stops, he dropped a bunch of coins on the floor. Luckily, I grabbed my suitcase, thinking it would make it easier for him to pick up the coins he dropped. Instead, he tried to grab my suitcase from me, and then I saw another hand from behind me reaching for it. At that point, I sensed something was really wrong, so I pushed the guy in front of me while holding onto my suitcase with one hand. Luckily, a local got up and helped. Does this happen often?
