Team got an invite to NASA SLI (hs level)

Hi! We are an independent rocketry team of under 7 people. We recently got an invite to NASA SLI, and im wondering what we're in for. Do you have any advice? Tips for success?

Though I have done the baseline level of research (ie whats available online), we could really use some tips because again, we're independent, and this is our first year doing it/getting an invite. We also have never really had a rocketry mentor (though we will be looking for it as it is apparently part of the proposal). If anyone has anything at all that maybe could possibly help a small group of high schoolers that are currently swimming in the dark, that would be much appreciated.

Thank you!

(oh also edit: i know this is a long shot, especially given the lack of resources our team has, and our lack of experience with a challenge of this caliber, but we are extremely passionate about rocketry so if you have any tips to do well, ie anything in particular that they are looking for/are focused on the most, that would be appreciated as well. thanks again!)

(editx2: wait how likely are you to get rejected after submitting the proposal?)
