How to I select my font for autosubs

So before I knew how to change the font but then the most recent update and I don’t see where you change your font when I click add to timeline it says something like font not selected in my video where I wanted to put the subtitles

I’ve heard of drills online where you set a phone or laptop behind you that flashes random colours you then scan behind to observe the colour then you say it out loud this is mainly used for wall passing

I also seen people do it like this: red = one touch back green = turn, etc

So I’m wondering what’s your guy’s opinion on this type of drills
