Found a A5 for less than 20k miles and asking for 35k$. Is this a good deal? Also what should I be careful of when getting a PPI before purchasing with help of local German mechanic

Found a family owned car which has 42k miles on it . Interior looks good. Asking 20.5k is this a good deal or room to negotiate. Says that dealer has offered them 17k
