I might know now why it doesnt work

Hi, I did not think this day might come but after three years we might have found some reasons for my infertility. After my last endo excision which yielded really minor lesions (<2 cm^2), we were advised to go see a doctor for reproductive immunology. Boy, my results metaphorically blink red like a christmas tree. In short (I hope the translation is correct):

- Possible antiphospholipid syndrome / antiphospholipid antibodies

- KIR AA genotype (genetic constellation associated with implantation difficulties in some cases)

- Protein Z deficiency (can be associated with coagulation issues)

- PAI-1 gene polymorphism / unfavorable PAI genotype

- HLA compatibility / HLA-related immune factors HLA Match - apparently, my husband and I share too similar antigenes so that my immune response is not protective towards the embryo (don't ask me, I dont understand it myself yet)

- Possible clotting and immune-related implantation issues

- Lack of certain protective immune factors

I didnt have the explaining talk with the doctor yet, but, yeah, they defo found sth. I thought Id be happy if I at least had a reason, but at first, I felt stumped.

After a little time now Im glad they actually found the/a reason. Apparently there is some interventions that can be done to counteract some of these, but we'll see.

Hey, so, I finally got the paperworks back from our respective health insurances; my period was late, I was even getting hopeful again haha, jokes on me, test was negative and period is starting. But it's starting weird. The basal temperature is all weird, it was very low the whole cycle, then rose when I expected my period on saturday. Hence the hope. Now Im starting to bleed, but lightly, Im having cramps too. Temperature is dropping but cyclic (dropped, rose a little, dropped harder, but still not quite back at normal level).

And I found a new horror to worry about. Could I be having symptoms of (peri-) menopause? I had my (second) endo surgery in february, I was told period could need some time to get regular again. It was too strong at first, then too short, now too long. I would start with my second round of stimulation and retrieval next month. I had "good" results with the first retrieval (except no implantations with 6 (untested) embryos), now Im thinking, what if the second retrieval is much worse due to maybe starting menopause. Could that be? Im sorry, Im a little unhinged now I guess. The renewed hope and subsequent disappointment hit me harder than expected and I still feel a little affected by it. It's driving me crazy that my period is not "starting normally and properly". Thanks in advance, my dear gals.
