I understand the vile hatred for solid tires from a lot of the community and understand the downside of solid tires. My question is has anyone successfully switched a pneumatic tire to a solid one. I am tired of having the cheap rubber tubes blow out after a few times on sidewalks in my city. I am a careful rider that does not jump curbs or go overly fast. My last tube lasted +- 15 miles.
