Hi folks, I have g14 with 3070 and ryzen 9, using it in clamshell mode connected to 2 k monitor with hdmi, notebook sits on the stand, it is raised so there is an air flow.
Everything is fine when cpu turbo boost is off, temps are fine, laptop is working fine, just getting terrible fps in lol :) on medium settings at 1440p in team fights dropping to 50s
If I turn cpu boost on, temps reach up to 80-85, i have agressive fan curve so it hits 100% speed at that point and temps stay stable, after some time 5-10 min, laptop automatically goes to sleep :) i have sleep disabled from control panel when lid is closed.
I have to open the lid and press power button to bring it back to life.
While lid is open this does not happen :) does not matter if cpu boost is on or off. I really would preffer to have lid closed.
I tried disabling sleep options from registry but it did not help, i bought huge ass power supply, that did not help either, I am out of ideas and so is chat, maybe someone from here had same issue and can help
