I recently jumped into the XR world after seeing so many recommendations here on Reddit. I’m primarily gaming on my ROG Xbox Ally X and I managed to snag a used pair of Viture Pro XR glasses for about 150€ on eBay.
Honestly? I’m blown away by the experience. Gaming on these is so much fun and the immersion is next level. However, I’m running into one major issue: The blurry edges.
While the center of the image is crisp, the edges (especially the corners) feel very blurry to the point where it’s distracting during gameplay. I’ve tried adjusting the nose pads and the diopter dials, but I can’t seem to get the whole screen clear at once.
Since I’m really liking the form factor, I’m willing to invest more (budget up to 700€ - 800€) if it means getting better edge-to-edge clarity.
I’ve been looking at a few models and would love some feedback on how they compare to the Viture Pro regarding blurriness:
Viture Beast (Is the larger FOV better for clarity?)
Viture Luma Ultra / Pro
RayNeo Air 3S / Air 4 Pro
Any other models?
Has anyone made the switch from Viture Pro to one of these? Is there a pair of glasses that actually solves the edge-blur issue, or is this just a limitation of the current tech?
